At the funeral of police officer Fayyaz, Chaplain Fahad Hussain represented the SCPD.
Officer Fayyaz's death is mourned by the SCPD family and the entire community. He will always be regarded as a true hero who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep others safe, and his sacrifice will never be forgotten.
We wish him eternal peace and hope that those he has influenced and inspired will carry on his legacy. We send our deepest sympathies to his loved ones during this difficult time, as well as to his friends and fellow officers.

“Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return"
Fayaz Adeed, a 26-year-old Pakistani American policeman, passed away today.
Adeed Fayaz, a veteran member of the NYPD and father of two, passed just three days after being shot while off duty in Brooklyn.

ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS!
The Suffolk County Leaders in Training Program is now recruiting for its 2022 summer internship program. The program selects and places candidates within multiple agencies or Departments in Suffolk County government. Interns are required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, must be 18 or older and currently enrolled in college. While all internships within the program are unpaid, students are eligible to earn college credit.

Students of all areas of study who reside in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties are encouraged to apply.
