Be cautious when dating someone who has been incarcerated.

Every person and situation is different, and people absolutely can grow, heal, and transform. But love alone is not enough.

Before becoming seriously involved, ask yourself:

• Are they open to therapy and personal growth?
• Have they spent time rebuilding their life independently?
• Have they addressed anger, conflict, substance use, or past behaviors?
• What are their goals, and do their actions match those goals?
• Do they take accountability, or do they blame everyone else?
• Are they using their experience to create positive change?

If you are living with mental health challenges, in recovery, or managing a substance use disorder, choosing the wrong partner can come at a very high cost. The people we allow into our lives can either support our healing or contribute to our struggles.

I know this from personal experience. One relationship almost cost me everything—my peace, my mental health, my recovery, my sense of self, and the life I worked so hard to build. It took a tremendous amount of work, support, faith, and healing to rebuild.

Recovery requires discernment. It requires paying attention to red flags, setting healthy boundaries, and making decisions that protect your well-being.

Take your time. Ask questions. Observe actions more than words.

People can change, but healthy relationships are built on honesty, accountability, emotional maturity, and a commitment to personal growth.

Protect your recovery. Protect your mental health. Protect your future.

The women who love these men matter too.

ifting weights has taught me how to push through pain. It has become one of the tools that helps me manage my depression.

I know that if I don’t actively manage my mental health, my risk of relapse increases—and that’s not an option for me.

I have a family. I have two daughters who depend on me to be present, healthy, and available.

Recovery isn’t just about staying sober. It’s about building a life worth staying sober for.

Let me help you stay accountable. Let me share what has helped me and continues to help me maintain my sobriety and personal growth.

We all need a mentor, coach, or support system to help us reach our goals. Investing in yourself is one of the greatest investments you’ll ever make.

If you’re struggling, feeling stuck, or simply need support, I’m only a message away.

You don’t have to do it alone.❤️

Running my peer groups filled my heart in a way words can barely explain.

There is something powerful about watching women realize they are not broken, they are still worthy, and they are capable of healing.

I loved pouring into these women, reminding them that healthier ways to cope are possible, that recovery is possible, and that their story does not have to end where the pain began.

As I continue on my own journey, my prayer is that every woman I encounter feels my love, my sincerity, and my belief in her.

Because sometimes the first step toward healing is simply being seen, being supported, and being reminded that you can do this.

And I will never stop believing that you can.

For some women, alcoholism isn’t always obvious…

It doesn’t always look like rock bottom.
Sometimes it looks like holding it together on the outside while struggling inside.

Quiet battles.
Private moments.
Questions you don’t say out loud.

And maybe you’ve asked yourself…
“Do I even have a problem?”

It’s not always about a label —
it’s about your relationship with it.

Is it taking more from you than it’s giving?

And even questioning it…
even becoming aware…
that takes strength.

I see you 🤍

Recovery didn’t make me soft…
it made me aware.

I’m still healing.
Still unlearning.
Still showing up.

And at the same time…
I’m building discipline, strength, and a mindset that doesn’t quit.

This is what the process looks like.

Not perfect — but consistent.

I don’t go back. I keep going.
