Dear DAE NYC Family and Friends,

Bringing fun and fabulous literary arts programming to public schools is at the heart of what Drag Artists for Expression NYC does—helping educators find creative and age appropriate ways to bring discussions about gender diversity into the classroom, from PreK to high school.

But while some public schools can afford to pay for our programs, many can’t. That’s why we’re raising funds this spring to sustain and expand our free and low-cost programs in NYC public schools over the next year.

Join us on Sunday April 19 at to celebrate the Joy of Drag! Kids and families of shapes and sizes are invited for an afternoon of storytelling, arts and crafts, drag makeup tutorials for youth, and kid-friendly drag performances!

Where: St. Lydia’s Church: 304 Bond Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 (Ground Floor + Back Yard)

Date: Sunday, April 19th, 2026
