It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Warm the West Side will be closing this year. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one that comes after much reflection and thought.
With your unwavering support, we’ve raised nearly $10,000, assisted over 15 shelter organizations, distributed hundreds of care packages, and warmed the lives of over 3,000 individuals by providing them with winter socks, gloves, hats, and blankets.
If you’d like to continue contributing to our cause we ask that you donate directly to the shelter organizations in your area or those we’ve supported in the past: Goddard Riverside, Project Renewal, Covenant House, New Alternatives, West Harlem Residence, Trinity Place Shelter, the Jewish Board, or Coalition for the Homeless.
I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you who has contributed time, resources, or support. Your generosity has made all the difference in the lives of so many.
