Hey everyone! I started a campaign to raise money for a nonprofit I managed to be able to expand its food distribution and refugee services amidst inflation and a local housing crisis! please donate what you can, nonprofits are out here filling gaps when city services won't resource!

In honor of World Refugee Day, an international anti-discrimination movement to celebrate and honor refugees, We Are Not Afraid Community Resource Center (WANA) is fundraising to bring awareness to the unprecedented humanitarian crisis across the globe. By providing a home base for refugees to receive in-depth resources, WANA continues to aid incoming refugees who are displaced and homeless.

Let's all congratulate Joshua on becoming an Americorps VISTA with WANA!
Joshua does overnight with our shelter, he coordinates the needs of our guests along with attending our 4 weekly mobile pantries. Since January 2023 we have been honored in having Josh as a VISTA.

For those of you who do not know Shirrell, Since 1995 she has been responsible for coordinating on-site logistics for Saturday's street outreach/mobile soup kitchen and supporting on-site programmatic operations at our multiple client choice food pantry locations and since January 2023 we have been honored in having her as a VISTA.
