This sweet boy was rescued from a high-kill shelter after landing on the euthanasia list. An amazing individual stepped up to save his life, but now we need help getting him to safety and the next chapter of his journey.

El Guapo is as handsome as his name suggests! With his stunning ice-blue eyes, fluffy coat, and sweet personality, this young husky mix turns heads everywhere he goes.

At approximately 8–12 months old and 21 pounds, he is the perfect size for adventures and cuddles. He loves people, enjoys giving hugs, rides well in the car, is calm and well-mannered, and prefers spending time with his humans over playing with toys. He has also shown excellent manners around other dogs and ignored a stray cat.

Di a luz a mis bebés dentro de una casa abandonada… el único lugar que pude encontrar para mantenerlos seguros. 💔

Pero ahora, esa casa pronto entrará en construcción y nos sacarán de allí sin tener adónde ir. Sin refugio. Sin seguridad. Sin un lugar donde pueda seguir alimentando y protegiendo a mis cachorros.

Cada día miro a mis bebés y le pido a Dios que sobrevivan hasta que alguien nos ayude. Estoy agotada, asustada y tratando con todas mis fuerzas de ser una buena mamá.

El ángel que me encontró está dispuesto a adoptarme cuando mis bebés ya no dependan de mi leche. 🐾❤️ Pero ahora mismo necesitamos urgentemente un lugar seguro donde pueda seguir cuidándolos y alimentándolos sin miedo.

I gave birth to my babies inside an abandoned home… the only place I could find to keep them safe. 💔

But now, that home is about to go under construction, and very soon we will be forced out with nowhere to go. No shelter. No safety. No place for me to continue feeding and protecting my puppies.

Every day, I look at my babies and pray they survive long enough for someone to help us. I am exhausted, scared, and trying so hard to be a good mama.

The angel who found me is willing to adopt me once my babies are old enough to no longer depend on me for milk. 🐾❤️ But right now, we urgently need a safe haven where I can continue nursing and caring for them without fear.

Meet Gyra! 🐾 Ready for a Meet and Greet in New York!

Gyra is a beautiful 8-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing 41 pounds as of May 14, 2026. She is a sweet, smart girl with so much love to give and is ready to find a forever family to call her own.

Gyra gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. She has not yet been cat tested. She is currently working on her leash training and continues to improve every day with patience and consistency.

This lovely girl is both crate trained and house trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. Like many young shepherd mixes, Gyra is still learning about the world and will thrive with a family that can provide guidance, structure, and plenty of affection.
