In the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, our son Anthony Velez was one of the victims of this terrible virus and passed away on March 28, 2020.

Our family experienced grief like never before and to this day feel his loss and absence compound our daily rituals. But with Anthony's loss, we discovered a new calling. We want to help intellectually and developmentally challenged people like Anthony. With that in mind, we formed a Non-Profit Organization called "Keyboards and Ketchup", two of Anthony's favorite things! Our goal is to bring keyboards and other supplies to people with disabilities. K&K was formed in Anthony's memory, and we are hoping with your support we can help other people, like Anthony around the world. We are currently accepting donations of portable keyboards and batteries. Here is a link to facilitate your search: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/16BT584FG78R0...

❤️ What a day!

Our 6th Annual Fundraiser BBQ was filled with good food, games, laughter, music, and most importantly, the people who continue to make the K&K family so special. 🥰

Every year, we come together to celebrate Anthony’s memory, support our mission, and remind ourselves that together, we can make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who came, donated, volunteered, played, laughed, ate, danced, and helped make this day so special. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support as we look ahead to our next mission trips and opportunities to help other organizations serving people with disabilities.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride is about more than a flag.

It’s about creating a world where every person is seen, respected, and welcomed for exactly who they are.

At Keyboards and Ketchup, our mission is rooted in inclusion. We believe individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve opportunities to learn, create, express themselves, and belong. That belief extends to every member of our community.

Today, we celebrate the beauty of diversity and reaffirm our commitment to building spaces where kindness leads, differences are embraced, and everyone has a seat at the table.

Because true inclusion doesn’t ask people to fit in.

It makes room for everyone.

Happy Pride Month. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Today we celebrate the power of accessibility, inclusion, and opportunity.

Anthony’s journey reminds us that when barriers are removed and support is provided, people of all abilities can achieve extraordinary things. His graduation was more than a milestone—it was a testament to determination, dignity, and the importance of creating a world where everyone has the chance to succeed.

This is what impact looks like. 🎹

Not perfect.
Not scripted.
Just real moments, real smiles, real connection.

This is why we show up.

For some, music is more than sound, It’s expression, It’s comfort, It’s connection.

This Autism Awareness Month, we recognize the power of music to create moments of joy, understanding, and inclusion.

Every note can open a door, Every moment can make a difference.

✨ Do you believe music can connect us beyond words?
