Chornomorets Stadium, home to FC SeaSters, can hold more than 34,000 people. Today, a Russian strike tore through its roof.

This isn’t just a stadium. It’s where dreams are built, where a women’s professional soccer team competes, and where the next generation finds hope through the game they love.

Through its partnership with FC SeaSters, Task Force Antal’s Special Operations Veterans use the same discipline they once brought to combat to train girls and professional players in lifesaving skills, including how to stop severe bleeding and pack a wound. Donor support also provides the cleats and jerseys they need, replacing worn-out gear with equipment that reflects their determination.

The stadium is damaged, but the people who fill it with purpose remain.

Yesterday, a missile hit the building next door to where a Task Force Antal team member was staying in Lviv. It did not detonate, but the impact alone was enough to cause serious damage across the block.

Two residential buildings on Patona and Vyhovskoho Streets took the worst of it. By morning, more than 30 people had been injured.

Rescue crews worked through the dark, pulling people from the rubble. A 93-year-old woman, alone in her top-floor flat. A father and his six-year-old son, trapped together on the fourth floor. A blind man who ran out barefoot, his wife right behind him, guided to safety by neighbors.

By sunrise, our team member was outside with the neighbors, helping clear debris from the street they had come to Ukraine to serve.

This is what Task Force Antal's presence in Ukraine actually looks like. Not distant from the conflict.

A route that was accessible last week may not be this week.

A community that was unreachable last month may be the priority this month.

A need that did not exist yesterday may become today's mission.
