Our CRSI Greenhouse Café is getting ready for sales within our CRSI community! Our participants are taking an active role in preparing the café, building valuable job skills, practicing teamwork, and gaining meaningful hands-on experience along the way.
From getting everything organized to preparing for sales, every step is an opportunity to learn, grow, and take pride in a job well done. 🌿✨
We’re so proud of our participants and all the hard work they put into making the Greenhouse Café a special part of CRSI!

Our 🌷BLOOM Flower Program 🌺is officially in full bloom! 🌸🌿

Branded by our Self-Advocates, BLOOM brings together horticulture, creativity, skill-building, and community connection.

What starts as a seedling in our horticulture classes grows into something truly special. Our participants are involved every step of the way, from planting and nurturing flowers to harvesting blooms and creating beautiful bouquets. 💐

More than a flower program, 🌸BLOOM is an opportunity to build skills, express creativity, and share joy with others.🌷

With every bouquet prepared, our participants are bringing beauty and connection to the community.

Looking back on a truly special moment when we proudly honored Commissioner Willow Baer with the very first “Heroes’ Garden” Award, presented by our Self-Advocacy Council and the incredible staff of Community Resources Staten Island.

This meaningful recognition celebrates compassion, dedication, and unwavering support for our community. We are grateful to our Self-Advocacy group for creating this special award and for continuing to inspire us through their leadership, strength, and advocacy. 💫

A wonderful reminder that our community is filled with everyday heroes worth celebrating!
