South Bronx neighbors, our youth stepped up! Doing community service at the just hits different.
On Saturday, May 30, an exceptional group of NYC high school students came together for the 3rd WVI Dolphin Foundation Leadership + Mentorship Program (LMP) module and only 1 more to go for our Class of 2026 to graduate!
Hosted by and co-sponsored by and , this "Civics in Action" workshop gave local teens the tools to lead. After a morning of intensive mentorship, these students put their skills to work, organizing a massive food giveaway to support local families.
By completing this program, our graduates will be fully positioned for job interviews, trade school placements, and college application endorsements! We aren't just talking about the future—we are building it.
Huge shoutout to our 32+ volunteer business leaders, YMCA of Greater New York, , and for making this day a massive success. But most of all, props to the kids who led the way!
