The use of tear gas is often discussed as a control tactic. Much less is said about what it may cause to the reproductive health of exposed women.

If repression leaves effects on menstrual cycles, pregnancies, or physical well-being, then we are not only talking about public order. We are also talking about public health and human rights.

They imprisoned her for exposing corruption.

Ruth López is a human rights lawyer. She led 15 investigations into government corruption. She filed 17 lawsuits. She made 120 requests for public information.

She has been imprisoned by the Bukele regime in El Salvador for a YEAR.

Since July, she’s had no contact with her family. No contact with her attorneys.

Fight authoritarianism. Sign the petition. Free Ruth López.

Access to mifepristone remains in place, for now.
But this case was never about safety. It was about power.
Mifepristone is safe, effective, and backed by decades of science. Medication abortion is now the majority of abortions in the U.S. And for millions, especially in states with bans, telehealth isn’t optional, it’s essential.

That’s exactly why it’s being targeted.
This moment is not security. The threats are ongoing.
But so are we.

We will keep fighting for access, for dignity, and for the right to decide over our bodies.

Being Ayan’s mom has made me even more aware of the world boys are growing up in.

Of the spaces online, trying to turn loneliness, insecurity, and anger into identity. Of the messages teaching boys that power means domination, and that empathy or softness makes them weak.

And it has made me think deeply about the kind of values I want my son to carry with him through all of that.

Every day, I try to raise a child who feels loved enough to never need power over others to feel valuable.

to everyone raising children with care, tenderness, and intention.

In Melbourne, at , I met people from all over the world who have been holding this fight for years.

Across contexts, they continue to confront systems that were never built for us and are pushing to transform them.

We also talked about abortion. About autonomy. About what it means to decide, when for many women and girls, deciding is still not an option.

But it was also a space to come together. To listen. And to remind ourselves of something important: we are not alone. This is a global fight to transform systems and build a better world. And we will keep going, building, organizing, and questioning what is not working. We are not waiting for change. We are creating it.

Today, I gave former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau the green handkerchief “pañuelo” . This is the symbol of the Green Wave, a symbol of courage, dignity, and the fight for reproductive justice. 💚

His kind of leadership, bold, authentic, and grounded in values is the kind of leadership we need to build the future we know is possible.

Because better futures are not imagined. They are created.

This birthday, I celebrate from the future.

Here in Australia, the day had already arrived. But back in Colombia, in the morning, at the time I was born, I technically had not been born yet.

Time is such a strange and beautiful thing. It reminds us that life is perspective. That what feels far away may already be happening somewhere else. That the future is closer than we think.

So this year, I choose to live from the future: a future of courage, joy, justice, equality, and where our dreams come true.

I’ll live in that future until we build it together.

Happy birthday to me—from tomorrow.

Last week in Puebla, I met with incredible women I have been fighting alongside for over a decade.
Across Latin America, we are pushing back against laws that continue to criminalize women for seeking care.
In parts of the region, abortion remains completely banned, and women are still being prosecuted after obstetric emergencies. In El Salvador, at least 30 women are being prosecuted.
This is not isolated. This is a global fight to build the lives, families, and futures we want.
We will keep going. Building, organizing, and refusing to accept that this is the way things have to be.
Because we are not waiting for change. We are creating it.

When a conservative agenda comes to power, the changes are not always immediate, but they are felt.
In budget cuts. In public policy. In stalled progress.
And in setbacks to women’s rights.
This is not just about Chile. It is a pattern we have already seen across the region.
Because rights are rarely taken away overnight.
They are chipped away– slowly, deliberately.
Chile is not an exception. It is a warning sign the region cannot afford to ignore. 🚨

On Trans Day of Visibility, let’s remember that visibility is not enough if we do not respect and guarantee rights.

Trans people deserve to live without fear, without exclusion, and without having to justify their existence.

Equality is not complete if it leaves anyone out.🩷🩵🤍✊🏻

What started as a local struggle became a global symbol of resistance.

Today, the green scarf crosses borders, connects generations, and stands for something bigger:
freedom, dignity, and the right to decide.

A reminder that rights are never given. They are built, defended, and expanded together💚
