It’s time for our first staff spotlight!

1:1 Mentorship Manager

Favorite HEROES Memory:
My favorite memory was when I first became a mentor and met my mentee for the first time! I was a freshman at the time so I was pretty nervous to see how our first interaction would go. I was so happy when our first session went so well, it was like we both naturally connected with one another. We ended up becoming really close and I’m so happy I was able to make a positive impact in her life.

How has this role better equipped you for the future?
As someone who plans on becoming an educator, I knew that I wanted to find a place that would help me develop the skills that are needed to work with students daily. I’m grateful that I’m able to take charge and help develop plans that help mentors succeed in their mentorship within this program!
