Happy December everyone! As you may all know this month is the season of giving!

With that for the remainder of this semester, we're holding a Social Media Bingo Fundraiser using our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter platforms (an email was sent out earlier today as well for reference). Below, you'll see the bingo template we've set up that you can post on a social media platform of your choice (the cards will also be posted on our social media pages).

Everyone who is able to fill up the ENTIRE bingo card will be entered to win one of our SIX HOLIDAY PRIZES! These prizes include an NYU crewneck sweater (2), NYU Flask, NYU Tumbler, NYU Under Armour Sackpack, NYU Mug.

How to (Tele)Play:

1. Post your card to whichever social media platform you choose.

2. When you post it, let them know that to donate, they must use the following link to donate the amount they choose: NYU Project Sunshine - Fundraiser Page.
It will likely be best to put the link in your bio or let them know that the link will be on our social media bios.

3. Every time someone notifies you that they donated a specified amount, double check to ensure that the amount has been donated onto our page (it should update immediately when they do so). You can emphasize that people should not make themselves anonymous so that you can see their name next to the donated amount.

4. Tag/Attach each donor's user/name onto the amount they chose, and once your card is filled up send your filled up bingo card screenshot to our social media page that you used to play.

5. Send your email along with the screenshot in case you are one of our six winners! We also want you to show that you have followed ALL of our Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook (this page), and Twitter to be entered into the drawing. All of our social media platforms are at the end for reference

6. Have fun! 😄

The last day for people to donate and submit bingo cards will be 12/11 at 6pm! Prizes will be drawn soon after and if you are a winner, we will email you!

“I have been a part of PS since my freshman year and it has just been such a positive and friendly community. Spending time with pediatric patients and their siblings is incredibly rewarding and always puts a smile on my face. Hospitals can be a really intimidating environment for children and their parents, so I really appreciate being able to make it a little bit more welcoming!”

“No fulfillment compares to that of putting a smile on a kid’s face. Having positive role models was vital for me as a child and I always aspire to be the same whether it’s my nephews and nieces or even distant cousins. It’s a just a level of wholesomeness that’s unmatched by any other activity.”

“I joined Project Sunshine, because I love giving time to others as an escape from a hectic student life. Volunteering at the hospitals and meeting children and their families has helped ground me the past two years at NYU and I wouldn’t give it up for the world!”

“One of the best volunteer experiences I had in high school was working at a children’s museum. I wanted to find a similar volunteering experience in NYC and I was drawn to Project Sunshine and its initiative 🙂”

“I joined Project Sunshine because their acts of improving mental and emotional health resonated with me. I wanted to be a part of an organization that acts upon wellness especially to younger generations which are new experiences, compared to wellness acts that we’re used to or practice on campus, on ourselves, and with people from our age range.”

“I joined project sunshine because I admired all that it stood for and I’ve always aspired to work in a pediatric healthcare setting. It’s very rewarding being able to put a smile on a child’s face and make their day a little better!”

“I joined Project Sunshine out on a whim. I was a first year and still very new to the college experience. My friend insisted I come with them to a meeting and I am so glad I did. The PS mission really resonated with me because I am an aspiring pediatrician. The fact that we get to bring some fun into a place that children often deem scary is amazing. Children should always be allowed to feel the joys of childhood, no matter the setting. From general member to e-board member, it’s a genuinely fun experience to share with everyone. I hope you join us and see what we’re all about and maybe you’ll fall in love with it like I did.”
