Vai ir dzīve pēc Dziesmu svētkiem? It kā esam atgreizušies darbos, bet Jumalīte vēl aizvien peld pa gaisu pēc nosvinētiem XVI Dziesmu un deju svētkiem Grand rapidos!
Sirsnīgs paldies svētku rīkotājiem, bet it SEVIŠĶI milzīgs paldies pienākās tautas deju nozares vadībai, Karīnai Hāznerei Foltzer, Mārtiņam Daukšam, Selgai Daukšai un Jānim Velkmem. Paldies, ka jūs uzbūrāt absolūto māģiju un pozitīvo gaisotni 700+ dejotājiem, kas iekaroja Grand rapidus (Dižkrāces??) pagāšnedēļ. Veltītās stundas bija to vērts - kopā mēs dejojām, kopā mēs svinējām, kopā mēs priecājāmies. PALDIES, PALDIES!
Paldies "vārtu sargiem" par gādāšanu par mums.
Vēl paldies blakus dejotājiem un kopām lieluzvedumā un jaundeju skatē - dejotāju veidoto tuneļu sagaidīšana pēc katras jaundejas uzstāšanās stāvēs ilgi un spīdēs spilgti mūsu atmiņās.
Mēs esam viena deju saime, mēs esam viena tauta, visi vienā komandā. Kāds prieks piedzīvot kopā būšanu!

Is there life after the Song Festival? We've all returned to work, but Jumalīte is still floating on air after celebrating the XVI Latvian Song and Dance Festival in Grand Rapids!
Our heartfelt thanks to the festival organizers. But an especially enormous thank you goes to the folk dance leadership team: Karīna Hāznere Foltzer, Mārtiņš Daukšs, Selga Daukša, and Jānis Velkme. Thank you for creating pure magic and such a positive atmosphere for the 700+ dancers who took over Grand Rapids last week. Every hour you dedicated to planning was worth it. Together we danced, together we celebrated, together we shared in the joy. THANK YOU!
Thank you to the "gatekeepers" who took such great care of us during the grand performance and the New Choreography Showcase.
And thank you to all the dancers and dance groups who shared the stage with us in the grand performance and the New Choreography Showcase. We have a feeling that the tunnels of dancers welcoming each group after every performance will remain one of our brightest and most cherished memories.
We are one dance family. We are one people. We are all on the same team. What a joy it is to come together like this!
