Thank you to the Center for an Urban Future for hosting an important forum on the future of New York City's natural areas and their role in supporting public health, climate resilience and community well-being.

Prospect Park Alliance was proud to have President Morgan Monaco join fellow panelists Terri Carta (Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy), Cal Hastings (NYC Outward Bound Schools), Oded Holzinger (Natural Areas Conservancy) and Siddhartha Sanchez (Bronx River Alliance) to discuss expanding access to urban nature and strengthening stewardship of the city's forests, wetlands and waterways for all New Yorkers. These natural areas are essential to a healthier, more connected and more resilient city. c. Images courtesy of Center for an Urban Future
