On International Women's Day, our Country Representative in Ghana, Miss Gifty Boatemaa Annan together with four members of the Women in Finance & Investment Network joined other phenomenal women at the 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥 event organized by the Ghana Stock Exchange.

On behalf of our President, Miss Diksh*ta Awotarowa, CGIA®, we express our manifold gratitude to Abena Amoah, Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange for the invitation and the entire GSE Team for such splendid coordination.

We celebrate the daily efforts of all whose actions continue to spur us toward a more inclusive world.

It was an honor to have a representation from WIFIN present at the seminar to young people in the aim of sensitizing them on cybersecurity and also in coaching them about grooming in terms of presentation skills, public speaking and building self confidence.

This seminar was proudly organized by our fellow member, Nansha Bholah🤝

On behalf of the Women in Finance & Investment Network, Nishma Awotarowa, the Operation lead of WIFIN delivered a remarkable speech in support of grooming young minds and building self confidence.

The financial services sector has the potential to both advance and measure gender equality. Financial inclusion by itself won’t lead to gender equality. However, women have the best opportunity of achieving social and economic empowerment when they have equitable access to the complete spectrum of needs-based financial services, including savings, credit, insurance, and payments, as well as the associated financial education.

Known globally, there’s an under-representation of women across multiple sectors, and more so, in the financial services industry.
