The flora and fauna of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia are one of the richest in the world.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In La Sierra we found:
- 600 species of birds, 21 of them are endemic
- 3000 endemic plant species
- an incredible diversity of amphibians, such as jaguars, peccaries, tapirs, and howler monkeys
- 35 hydrographic basins
- a range of mountainous systems that goes from the sea to the snowy peaks (the highest one is 18 701 ft, located 26 miles away from the ocean)
- all the thermal floors (humid forest, paramos, super-paramos, a snow belt, and more)

We are talking about a unique place in the world, a huge vortex of energy that contains an Alef: a mystic representation of the divine oneness.
