Repost from : We’re excited to share that the free InReach App (formerly known as ‘the AsylumConnect Catalog’) has now topped over 250,000 user sessions since we launched in 2016!

Over 50% of our total sessions (125,000+) have come from this year alone as we continue to witness an increased demand for our free technology in the midst of an unprecedented number of anti-LGBTQ+ policies sweeping through state legislatures across the country.

A big thank you to everyone for your continued support and dedication to help ensure every LGBTQ+ person is able to find the safety and freedom to live authentically! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤

On we spotlight one member of the Junior Board, a group of young professionals located across the US who are committed to supporting ’s critical work through , , and .

Today we are excited to introduce Madeline Elliott (she/her), who is a Senior Analyst at Accenture and a co-director of the Marketing Committee.

Why did Madeline join the Junior Board? She says: “as a q***r person from Texas (a state with serious human rights concerns for migrants and asylum-seekers), i am passionate about helping LGBTQ asylum seekers not only find safety, but find a way to fulfill their potential and live their best lives! i'm also studying Gender & Migration at the graduate school level right now, and i wanted to be a part of the tangible work of improving policy and making space for q***r migrants and asylum seekers in the US”

An interesting fact about her: “i play the piano and compose music, and would love to tour someday with a band!”

A policy change that Madeline would make: “one *set* of policy changes that i'm particularly upset/passionate about at the moment is the rollback of progress in reproductive rights policies and the increase in policing of women's bodies (especially q***r women). abortion access and access to reproductive healthcare is a right, not a privilege, which seems to be something the policymakers in the South & our Supreme Court need a firm reminder of!”

We are so lucky to have Madeline on our team! Check back next week to learn about another one of our members.
