Have you thought about volunteering but are worried you don’t have enough time to make a difference? Think again! Here’s what you can achieve:
• In just one hour a week, you can brighten a lonely senior’s day with a friendly visit or phone call.
• In less than two hours a week, you can deliver meals and wellness checks to isolated homebound seniors in your neighborhood, mentor a young person in a local high school or job training program, or tutor a child struggling to learn how to read.
• In three -four hours a week, you can help a local food pantry feed hundreds of hungry families by stocking shelves or distributing food, or you can tutor an adult studying for their GED.
• In six hours a month, you can help an abandoned pet find a forever home or provide respite to a family whose loved one is in hospice care.

Your time, no matter how little, can have a big impact. Want to learn more? Attend one of our upcoming events designed to help you discover your volunteer potential and learn about the many opportunities that are available.
