She also participated in meetings with PACE President Petra Bayr and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

In Italy, a scandal has erupted after one of Vladimir Putin’s favorite propagandists insulted Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

The propagandist is Vladimir Solovyov. Do you know why he’s so angry at Italy? Italian authorities have seized four of his villas — all of which were uncovered by Alexei Navalny’s team.

We hope the Italian authorities will continue responding to the aggressive rhetoric of Putin’s propaganda machine by seizing the real estate of the Russian elite. Measures like this deliver a meaningful blow to a regime of kleptocrats and war criminals.

Despite our appeals, a villa in Italy belonging to Putin’s close ally Valentina Matvienko has still not been seized.

A memorial plaque honoring Alexei Navalny unveiled in Budapest

A memorial plaque dedicated to Alexei Navalny has been installed in central Budapest at the initiative of the Democratic Coalition party. Speaking at the unveiling, party representative and Member of the European Parliament Dobrev Klára highlighted Navalny’s courage and emphasized that Russia is not the same as Putin, just as Hungary is not the same as Orbán’s regime.

“Alexei Navalny is no longer just a hero of Russia, no longer merely part of Russian history. Alexei is a hero to all of us. Because integrity, human dignity, and fidelity to one’s values are not national traits—they are human ones.”

A speech by Yulia Navalnaya was also delivered at the ceremony, focusing on preserving Navalny’s legacy, the importance of his struggle, and Vladimir Putin’s responsibility for his death.

Thank you to everyone who keeps the memory of Alexei Navalny alive. His courage, his principles, and the cause to which he devoted his life.

The $1.3 billion palace in Gelendzhik has long become a symbol of Putin’s corruption.

But its story didn’t end with our first investigation. We discovered that after construction was completed, there were “extra” $85 million left over. That money didn’t disappear and wasn’t returned to those it had been stolen from — it went to someone extremely close to Vladimir Putin.

For several years now, these millions have been sitting in bank deposits belonging to Putin’s partner, Alina Kabaeva. They generate hundreds of millions of rubles in interest and are spent on private events and luxury purchases.
