"I’m honored to be running the NYC Marathon with the Children’s Brain Tumor Project Foundation. My journey is deeply personal;
my cousin recently passed away who after battling a brain tumor. Witnessing her journey was incredibly difficult, and it’s heartbreaking to know that so many children are going through similar struggles. Being part of this charity means a lot to me, especially now, as it offers a chance to support families and children facing the unimaginable.

Every mile I run and every dollar I raise brings me closer to giving these kids a fighting chance. Supporting this foundation means supporting the children and families who bravely battle these diagnoses every day. I’m running not only for my cousin but for all children affected by brain tumors and the hope for a brighter future."

Meet , one of CBTPF's runners for the United Airlines Half Marathon!

As a speech language pathologist working in the hospital, I have seen first hand the impact that cancer, specifically brain tumors, have on patients and their families. I chose to run for CBTPF in an effort to raise awareness and funds to fight this terrible disease. I’m so grateful to represent such an important cause and incredible organization. Thank you for including me on this amazing team!

Meet , one of our runners for the United Airlines Half Marathon.

I am running with Team CBTP to help advance a cure for kids with brain tumors. I was inspired to join the team because my sister, Lexi, was diagnosed with a glioma brain tumor when she was in 4th grade. Lexi had to spend a lot of her childhood in Children’s hospital of Pittsburgh getting MRIs.

I am hoping my friend’s and family’s donations are able to bring hope to families that have a loved one diagnosed with a brain tumor.
