✨ The Eastern Region is proud to recognize Dr. Noélia Luna Archambeault de Hernández as the recipient of the 2026 Margaret Cusack Professional Development Award.
Dr. Archambeault de Hernández is an Associate Professor of Voice at the University of Delaware, an accomplished researcher in vocal jazz, voice pedagogy, technology in the voice studio, and cross-training the voice, and a frequent presenter for organizations including The Voice Foundation, ACDA, and the International Congress of Voice Teachers. She also serves as the ACDA representative on the NATS Voice Science Advisory Committee.
As a first-generation Latina, she is passionate about belonging, inclusion, and expanding access to the arts. Her work as founder of the Chicana Art Song Project reflects her commitment to using music as a vehicle for connection, representation, and social impact.
🎵 Thanks to this award, Dr. Archambeault de Hernández will travel to San Antonio to present her session “Echoes from El Barrio: The Chicana Art Song Project and the Legacy of Cultural Memory”
