Hi friends and family, I am honored to announce that Raíces De Mí Encanto is back with our Back-to-School Backpack Drive. Many families struggle to afford basic school supplies, creating a significant barrier for children to succeed in their education. Children without the necessary supplies may be less likely to participate in class, complete assignments, and ultimately may fall behind, impacting their long-term academic trajectory, and we don’t want that. Therefore, Raíces De Mí Encanto has been supporting the children in the diaspora for the past 7 years. We have supported 2,370 children throughout Puerto Rico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and in May, children in Colombia. Raíces De Mí Encanto will be going back to Puerto Rico on July 17, 2025, to support the less fortunate children over there. Our request is for you to help us support these children. By providing a new backpack and supplies, students in Guayama, Puerto Rico, and surrounding areas can focus on their education, feel prepared, and reach their full potential. A backpack full of supplies helps alleviate the stress and anxiety of starting a school year, especially for families experiencing financial limitations. Ensuring all children have the supplies they need helps them create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment. We are collecting the essentials, like school backpacks and school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, and more… 🎒📙✏️✂️.
