Every storyteller deserves someone who believes in their potential.

A scholarship isn’t just financial support—it’s confidence, opportunity, and the chance to tell stories that might otherwise never be heard.

That’s why 10 ARTS is proud to support New York Film Academy (NYFA) and its mission to empower the next generation of filmmakers, actors, and visual artists through the gift of scholarships.

Behind every great film is someone who was given the chance to begin.

You never know where one connection might lead.

For NYFA alumni Curry Barker and Cooper Tomlinson, it led to building stories together—and now making waves in the film industry.

It’s a reminder that behind every great film is a creative partnership built on trust, passion, and years of showing up.

That’s exactly why 10 ARTS Foundation exists.

To help the next generation of storytellers find their voice, build their community, and keep creating.

Congratulations, Curry and Cooper. We can’t wait to see what’s next. 🎬

At 10 ARTS, our goal is about opening doors, building community, creating opportunities, and helping the next generation of storytellers find their voice.

From film and music to journalism, photography, animation, and beyond — we’re investing in NYFA storytellers who will shape the future of creative culture.

There’s a story out there that only one person can tell. We want to help them tell it.

Film school changes lives. We’ve seen it happen. A scholarship doesn’t just open a door — it changes the entire trajectory of someone’s creative life. That’s why we do this.

The 10 ARTS Foundation funds scholarships for NYFA students who are ready to go all in on their craft. Every single one of them has a story the world needs to see.

Check our profile to learn more about how 10 ARTS supports NYFA storytellers.

Every artist starts somewhere—with an idea, a passion, and the courage to take the first step.

The journey won’t always be easy, but the stories that change the world rarely begin inside a comfort zone.

At 10 ARTS Foundation, we believe talent deserves opportunity. That’s why we’re committed to supporting emerging artists through scholarships, mentorship, and access to creative education.

Keep creating.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.

One of the best parts of supporting storytellers is watching them go on to support other storytellers, too.

10 ARTS Grant Recipient Israa Al-Kamali is returning for her second year as a Script Consultant with Northwestern University in Qatar’s Studio 20Q for the 2026 grant cycle — where she’ll be helping develop 5 student films across narrative and documentary!

What stands out most is her commitment to helping emerging filmmakers strengthen their voice and get their scripts to a place they’re truly proud of. That kind of impact extends far beyond one project.

At 10 ARTS, we’re proud to support NYFA storytellers and creatives like Israa who continue creating opportunities, mentorship, and community for the next generation of filmmakers.

Excited to see the stories that come out of this year’s Studio 20Q cohort 👏

🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🌈

At 10 ARTS Foundation, we believe that every voice deserves to be heard, every story deserves to be told, and every storyteller deserves the opportunity to thrive.

This Pride Month, we’re proud to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community alongside our partners at NYFA as they march in the WeHo Pride Parade on June 7th! 🎉

NYFA students, alumni, faculty, staff, family, and friends are invited to come together in celebration, visibility, and community.

Together, we’re celebrating creativity, authenticity, and the power of storytelling in all its forms.

We believe that we have the ability to make a difference in
both the young storytellers’ worlds and the world at large.

Their Story, Their Voice

06/03/2026

Every scholarship awarded.
Every student supported.
Every story told.

It all comes back to one thing:
Creating opportunities for emerging NYFA storytellers to learn, grow, and share their voices with the world.
That’s our why. ❤️
