🙏 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY, ZOHRAN KWAME MAMDANI 🙏
With immense gratitude, deep emotion, and heartfelt respect, we extend our sincere thanks to Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani for his inspiring welcome message to the 3rd Global Times Square Durga Puja 2026, organized by Bengali Club USA on October 17–18, 2026, in the heart of New York City. 🗽🌎
His thoughtful words are more than a message of welcome. They represent the beautiful spirit of a city where cultures, faiths, and communities come together in harmony, dignity, and mutual respect.
✨ When Maa Durga arrives at Times Square, she brings a message for all humanity.
Durga Puja is not merely a festival. It is a sacred celebration of Shakti, the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, courage over fear, and compassion over hatred. Maa Durga symbolizes divine strength, protection, wisdom, and the eternal power of righteousness.
Bringing this ancient spiritual and cultural tradition to the world’s crossroads is our humble effort to share Bengal’s extraordinary civilization, heritage, art, and spiritual wisdom with the world.
Mayor Mamdani’s recognition of New York’s diverse immigrant communities reminds us that the true strength of this magnificent city lies in its people and in the countless cultures that enrich its identity. His message gives our community renewed inspiration to build bridges of friendship, promote cultural understanding, and pass our timeless heritage to future generations.
As the Founder of Times Square Durga Puja and Founder President of Bengali Club USA, I have always believed that our heritage should not remain confined within four walls. It deserves to be shared with humanity on a global stage, bringing people together through the universal language of faith, culture, peace, and love.
🙏 May Maa Durga bless Mayor Mamdani with wisdom, strength, compassion, and good health. May her divine grace bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every resident of New York City and to people across the world.
On behalf of Bengali Club USA, our organizing committee, dedicated volunteers, devotees, and cultural well-wishers, we express our deepest appreciation to Mayor Mamdani for his gracious message and recognition of this historic celebration.
From Bengal to New York. From Times Square to the world. One heritage, countless cultures, and one humanity. ❤️🌍
