This past weekend, The Ukrainian Museum and the Ukrainian Habitat Fund welcomed Ukrainian families for our Annual Christmas Workshop 🎄💙💛
Together, we crafted traditional Ukrainian Christmas ornaments, shared stories, and celebrated the joy of the season as a community—honoring culture, connection, and tradition. Special thank you to Ukrainian Museum’s Kalyna Boychuk for leading the workshop.

BLACKOUT CONCERT in support of Ukraine 🇺🇦

When darkness surrounds us, our inner light grows stronger.

Inspired by Ukraine’s experience with blackout conditions caused by Russian attacks, the Blackout Concert honors the resilience and creativity that continue to rise in the face of war.

Experience modern academic music performed in near darkness — a tribute to Ukrainian musicians who keep creating despite shelling, air-raid sirens, and power outages. ✨

Featuring works by emerging Ukrainian composers and contemporary artists from around the world, including Victor Rekalo, Katja Suglobina, Emre Şener, Che Buford, and more.

Now in its third year, the program provides immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading opera houses — fostering global collaboration and artistic innovation.

Big milestone alert! Our first families have officially graduated from the Ukrainian Habitat Fund program — the lease is now in their name. 🏡

When they arrived in NYC, we stepped in to take on the lease and cover rent so they could focus on finding work, settling in, and building a new life. Now, they’re standing on their own two feet — and that means our model works.

This is what refugee resettlement should look like: dignified, empowering, and rooted in real community support. 💙💛
