Owego Rotary Goes Pink!

The Owego Rotary Club is hosting an after‑hours social at Owego Brewing Co. on October 28 from 5:30–9:00 PM. Rotarians will be behind the bar for a special Tap Takeover, with all proceeds supporting Embrace Your Sisters, an organization providing critical assistance to individuals facing breast cancer. This cause is near and dear to many—both within Rotary and throughout our community—making this event a meaningful way to come together. Enjoy “Fight Flights” with b**r and dessert pairings, raffle items, and great company as we raise funds and awareness in true Rotary spirit.

Indigenous communities have shaped our world in countless ways. Indigenous Peoples’ Day is an opportunity to learn, listen, honor those traditions, and recognize the resilience and continued contributions of Indigenous peoples today.

As Rotarians, we believe that service begins with understanding one another. By learning about the people and histories that make up our communities, we can build greater respect, strengthen connections, and work together toward a more peaceful and inclusive world.

Today, we invite our Rotary family to take a moment to learn more about the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Indigenous nations whose ancestral lands encompass where we live and serve. đź’™

Our full weekend conference means more time together, but we're still going to fit a lot into the only full day of the event. Saturday is for connecting, learning, and taking away new techniques and information in support of your brain and mental health.

We also hope you make some new friends and meaningful Rotary connections!

The Rotary Club of Baldwinsville is inviting community members to come together for Unite for Good 2026, an evening celebrating local environmental initiatives while raising funds to support Rotary International’s global effort to eradicate polio.

The event will take place Tuesday, October 20, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at WT Brews Baldwinsville, located at 18 East Genesee Street in Baldwinsville (behind B'ville Diner).

This year’s Unite for Good theme is supporting the environment, one of Rotary’s global areas of focus. The event will feature live music by Larry Kyle, craft b**r from WT Brews, food from Moonchot’s Authentic Thai Cuisine food truck, a crocus bulb sale, local artisans including Tara’s Confections and Sun & Hive Honey, the Women’s Garden Club of Baldwinsville, two polio survivors to speak with directly, the Baldwinsville Public Library, Baldwinsville Interfaith Council, and trivia with prizes.

Admission is $10 per person and includes one beverage, with proceeds benefiting Rotary International’s Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Funds raised through Unite for Good help support that ongoing effort as part of the Baldwinsville Rotary Club’s annual observance surrounding World Polio Day (October 24), while highlighting the many ways Rotary members and community partners put “Service Above Self” into action.

Tying together polio awareness and the environmental theme is the new crocus bulb sale. Just $10 for ten bulbs that you can plant now for early blooms next spring. Community members are encouraged to attend, bring friends and family, and discover how they can unite for good in Baldwinsville and beyond.

WHAT: Unite for Good 2026
WHEN: Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 4:30–8:30 p.m.
WHERE: WT Brews B’ville, 18 East Genesee Street, Baldwinsville
ADMISSION: $10 per person, includes one beverage
BENEFIT: Rotary International’s Global Polio Eradication Initiative
