🎬 A little behind-the-scenes!!

We always say kids’ ministers come with extra suitcases and a whole lot of fun. 😂 Props, costumes, games, characters, puppets… somehow it all makes its way into those suitcases and comes to life backstage!

There’s a lot that goes into creating an experience that kids will actually remember. Because a child’s love language is FUN!! We want every kid who walks through our doors to leave knowing they are seen, valued, and loved.

Kids can do more than just choose Jesus. They can know Him, walk with Him, hear His voice, and lead others toward Him too.

Let’s not stop at introducing kids to Jesus. Let’s equip them to live boldly in who God created them to be, to love His people, and to carry the Gospel wherever they go.

Because we’re not just raising kids who follow Jesus. We’re raising kids who will help others follow Him too. 🤍

How are we spending the time we’ve been given?

Ephesians reminds us to be careful how we live and to make the most of every opportunity. Not because we need to fill every moment with something productive, but because our time is shaping who we are becoming.

In a world that pulls us in so many directions, may we choose to spend our lives becoming more like Jesus slowing down enough to hear Him, loving His people well, serving when it costs us, and choosing His Kingdom even when it looks upside down to the world around us.

We only get so many days. Let’s spend them becoming more like Jesus and loving the people He’s placed in our lives. 🤍

Living in an upside-down kingdom with a right-side-up God. 🙃

The world around us may have everything backwards, but Jesus calls us to live differently to live right-side up in an upside-down world.

To love. To serve. To choose truth. To look like Jesus.

We may be surrounded by an upside-down world, but we know the One who sets it right. ☺️

The fruit continues! 🌱❤️

Aaron and his beautiful wife, Julieth, traveled back to the village where we held our Kids Camp to follow up with the children’s ministry leaders in the area.

They spent time with the leaders through a follow-up training and were able to place a copy of our Wonder Kids curriculum into each of their hands. 📖✨ This resource will continue to strengthen their Sunday schools and equip them to teach Holy Spirit-filled, Bible-centered lessons to children each week.

What a beautiful reminder that the work doesn’t end when we leave. The seeds planted during our time together continue to grow, and the impact keeps reaching further into these communities. 🌱

We are so grateful to see what God is continuing to do through these leaders and the children they serve! ❤️

There’s nothing more beautiful than watching seeds of faith continue to grow. 🤍

Our African Ambassador, Aaron, has been faithfully leading our weekly school ministry, along with outreach and follow-up in schools we’ve had the privilege of visiting on past mission trips. It’s been incredible to see the relationships continue and to build on the work God began while we were serving together on the ground.

Thank you for praying, giving, and standing with us. Your partnership allows us to continue investing in the next generation and sharing the hope of Jesus week after week. ☺️

Your testimony carries power.

One of the most impactful parts of camp was hearing Aaron, Linda, and Micaela share the stories of God’s faithfulness in their own lives.

As they spoke, you could feel the atmosphere shift. The Holy Spirit met us in those moments, and hearts were opened to receive all that God had for them.

Meet Safari Guide Lucy! 🦁🦒🌿

At Wonder Kids, we love finding creative ways to teach children about Jesus! One of our favorite ways to do that is through fun, memorable characters that help bring each lesson to life.

This year at camp, Safari Guide Lucy joined us every morning to kick off the day and introduce the Big Idea we would be learning. She helped the children laugh, engage, and get excited about discovering God’s truth together.

When kids are having fun, they’re often learning without even realizing it. That’s why we believe creativity is such a powerful tool for sharing the Gospel.

We’re already wondering… who should join us at our next camp? 😉

At first glance, this might just look like a fun side-by-side photo.

But to us, it’s a testimony.

Fifteen years ago, Lauren poured into a generation of children at camp, faithfully sharing the love of Jesus and planting seeds of truth. She had no way of knowing what those seeds would become.

Today, many of those same children are now adults serving their communities through their careers, their churches, and many on the mission field.

One of those children is our very own Wonder Kids team member, Kennedy. Fifteen years ago, she sat in the crowd at children’s camp, where God began stirring a call to missions on her life. Just recently, she returned from Arusha, Tanzania not as a camper, but as a leader helping teach, love, and disciple the next generation of children.

What a beautiful reminder that God’s Word never returns void. The seeds we plant today may not bear fruit tomorrow, but in His perfect timing, He is always faithful to fulfill His plans and His promises.

Keep sowing. Keep serving. Keep saying YES!

The next generation is watching… and one day, they may be the ones carrying the Gospel to the nations. ❤️🌍
