Upon receiving news of K-9 Loki’s passing, we would like to express our most sincere condolences to Officer Brad Lienhart, his family and everyone at the CCSO. Officer Lienhart and Loki, along with other K-9 handlers have came to the the Firemen’s Picnic for several years to provide public demonstrations of their skills. K-9 Loki’s service to our county and community shall not be forgotten.

Due to the current situation with Covid 19, we have made the decision to postpone the Fireman’s Picnic in July. We are looking to reschedule for the fall, depending on social restrictions and gatherings at that time. We will post updates on our page. So make sure to give us a like and follow!

Today’s date, October 22, NWFD responded to a rollover vehicle collision. The family involved has asked for the department’s help in finding a dog that had left the scene at the time of the accident. At their request we have posted a picture of the missing animal with it’s information as well as the information of the owners.

Missing from the Paynesville RD/ Miles RD intersection is a small Yorkie wearing an orange collar with a tag holding the phone numbers of the owners.
The dog answers to Stanlee.
The owners have given us the most recent picture of their dog, advising he has had a recent haircut.
At the owners request, we have shared their contact info.
