💚🏈 TOMORROW IS ABOUT SO MUCH MORE THAN FOOTBALL. 🏈💚

We’re incredibly excited for East Clinton P*e Wee Football’s first home game of the season tomorrow at 2:00 PM at East Clinton High School!
But what makes this day especially meaningful to our family is what the East Clinton cheerleaders, coaches, families, players, and entire community are showing everyone:

Inclusion doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it simply starts with saying, “You belong here with us.” ❤️

Sophie gets to be out there with her teammates doing what every kid deserves the opportunity to do — participate, belong, make friends, be part of a team, and experience the same moments as everyone else.

We’re also excited to welcome 12, WKRC-TV from Cincinnati tomorrow as they help share this story with the community. 📺❤️
Because this isn’t just Sophie’s story — it’s East Clinton’s story.

It’s a story about teammates who see a teammate, not a disability. Coaches who make room for everyone. Families who support one another. And a community showing what can happen when a child is simply given the opportunity to belong.

Our hope is that another school, another coach, or another family sees what East Clinton is doing and realizes:

“We can do this too.”

That’s how inclusion grows — one team, one school, and one community at a time. 💚

If you’re anywhere around the area tomorrow, come out, fill the stands, support these kids, and help us celebrate INCLUSION!

Years ago, Local 12 and other news outlets came to this house to cover a remarkable recreation of Ohio Stadium known as “The Best Damn Room in the Land.”

Today, those same stadium walls surround something entirely different.

The room is now filled from floor to ceiling with SophWear™ adaptive footwear—created after we struggled to find shoes that worked for our daughter Sophie’s cerebral palsy and orthotics.

What was once a celebrated Buckeye showpiece has become the working headquarters for a mission helping children, adults and families move forward with greater confidence and independence.

The room was newsworthy because of what was painted on its walls. We believe it is even more meaningful today because of what is happening inside them.

Please share it. You never know which family may be searching for exactly what we created. ❤️

Today, my wife received a call regarding our daughter’s benefits, and our family was questioned about how we continue to support ourselves. My social media activity was also flagged, and I was asked to provide a written statement explaining whether I earn income from TikTok.

So let me be clear: having a social-media account, developing a product, advocating for children with disabilities, or having been successful earlier in life does not mean a family is currently generating substantial income.

I left a successful career and invested my life savings into developing products intended to help my daughter and other families. I have turned down opportunities that would have required me to surrender control of technology that I believe needs to remain accessible to the people it was created to help.

We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking that Sophie’s application be evaluated accurately, respectfully, and without assumptions based on social-media posts or appearances.

When we lived in Pennsylvania, Sophie’s coverage was approved within days. In Ohio, we have now spent nearly four months trying to navigate the process. Families caring for children with disabilities should not be made to feel like suspects simply because they keep fighting, building, and finding ways to survive.

I will continue advocating for my daughter. I will continue working to make these products available. And I will continue trusting that God will provide.

Ohio families raising children with disabilities deserve a process that is timely, transparent, respectful, and based on documented facts—not assumptions.

BOOM! Faith Over CP is officially leading the pack. 🌳🔥

A new AI visibility analysis ranked Faith Over CP #1 among adaptive footwear competitors, with a 25% ChatGPT visibility score—ahead of Buck & Buck, Friendly Shoes, Billy Footwear, and Flint Rehab.

Even better, Faith Over CP is already being recognized by AI as a source for questions about the adaptive products we offer.

This is a huge step forward, but we are only getting started.

Our mission has always been bigger than selling shoes. We are building practical, affordable solutions for children and adults with cerebral palsy, foot drop, mobility challenges, and other conditions—while using our work to support families and expand access.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in Sophie, supported Faith Over CP, shared our story, purchased our products, or helped us reach another family.

From a family-driven mission in small-town Ohio to becoming the most visible adaptive-footwear organization in this competitive analysis.

Let’s keep climbing. 💚

Hi everyone, Mike with Faith Over CP here. I know how fast everyone scrolls past videos these days, but I need to keep sharing this story because it matters.

For years, my daughter had to wear big AFO braces. I distinctly remember the day I had to go to nine different shoe stores just trying to find a single pair of shoes that would fit over them—all while people stared and made unkind comments. The shoes we did find had zippers that constantly broke and were just junk.

I couldn't stand by and watch my daughter get made fun of, so I decided to invent a solution. Today, through our nonprofit, we’ve created easy-on, easy-off shoes designed specifically to bring normalcy and confidence to these kids:

👟 The Gabe Top – Named after my son so he could have a special pair just like his sister, complete with click laces.

👟 The Joe Top – A lace-free, purple and white design made to keep a promise to my best friend (and yes, I’ve been personally road-testing mine for about 8 months now, so it's a little faded!).

👟 The SofTop – Named after my daughter, and now all the little girls want to wear it!

People sometimes make comments or fun of my faded purple shoes today, but it only makes me smile. I would much rather take some jokes about my footwear than ever watch people make fun of my daughter again. This journey is about raising awareness.

I’ve said "no thank you" to Kanye West’s shoe guy, Emory University, and some of the most renowned hospitals because giving my inventions away to major corporations doesn't solve the real problem for families like ours. We are here to build confidence.

Thank you all for the support. Remember: If you ain't zipping, you're tripping!
