On behalf of Councilman Frank Grady and the Four Bears Segment, we all express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Olivia Lone Bear. Because of the international attention of Olivia’s disappearance, we are expecting a large attendance for her wake and funeral services. Councilman Grady and myself have agreed upon holding Olivia’s services in the gym of the new Thomas Johnny Bird Veterans Memorial Building. All future wake and funeral services will be held in the new Memorial Hall which was specifically made for those circumstances. We ask that everyone respects and understands the reason behind our decision.
At this time the Four Bears Segment Elder’s Program is working up at the new building while the rest of the staff is still in the old building. Many different factors have come up that have hindered the rest of us to make the move. Primarily the lack of phones and internet throughout the building. Crews are estimating the work to be finalized in the next two weeks.

Four Bears Segment Security will be up at the new building until Tuesday. If anyone needs to get ahold of security we do have a temporary phone line, (701) 627-4800.

We would like to also thank Councilwoman Dr. Mayer who has assisted us in preparing for the services.
