My Lord God,� I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end nor do I really know myself,�and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you and I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road, though I may know nothing about it.�Therefore will I trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. We are proud of the positive outcomes of our new weekly event where we gather to have a meal and social interaction among some of most needy in our community. After sleeping in the outdoor heat, humidity and often in the storms that are so common here in Florida; the homeless come on down to Bridging the Gap. We are proud to say we have established a relaxed and safe environment for us all to get to know eachother better and we here at BTG feel it has been a blessing for all parties involved including all those who donate and make this possible.

We have been told multiple thanks and been given lots of appreciation hugs for all we do during this event. One of the most impactful was, “I was just outside (sitting at the picnic tables) when I had to remind myself that I was homeless”.

Most recently we have had an amazing friend and her kids offer to make the meal for one week a month! Thank you Megan, Hailey, Preston and Kylie! We all loved the baked Ziti and sausage, garlic bread and the amazing banana pudding!
