The Miracle League of Volusia County Inc.

Providing opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of their abilities. The field will be located at the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex.

In February 2015, The Miracle League of Volusia County formed a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation and will give those with special needs an opportunity to play America’s favorite pastime. For the over 13,000 school-aged children with physical and mental challenges in Volusia and Flagler counties, we have built a rubberized non latex surfaced baseball field. The field is located and donated by the

City of New Smyrna Beach. For the first time in our county, children and young adults with challenges will don their uniforms, come to the plate and hear the words “Play Ball”.

We need you! Can you help? Saturday March 28th!

The Miracle League of Volusia County relies on organizations, leagues, clubs, fellowships, collectives, and individuals to help our kids play baseball. We have a great need for Saturday March 28th as we have had no one sign up for this date!

As a buddy you would arrive at 8:45am and stay for both games, ending by 11:15ish. We pair you up with a player at each game and your job is to make sure they have a good time and stay safe! Throw a ball in the outfield with them, run the bases with them, help them at bat if they need it, and be their friend in the dugout.

Opening day was a great success. The smiles were exceptional. Daytona State College Softball and the last-minute volunteers ensured every child had a great time, and Atlantic Coast Church kept the grill hot and the hot dogs rolling.

Weather permitting, Rip Tides will take on the Speed Racers at 9am tomorrow followed by the Wave Runners vs the Aviators at 10:15.

Spring Season kicks off this weekend and our players are excited!

This Saturday February 21st, we are in need of some additional buddies.

As a buddy you would arrive at 8:45am and stay for both games, ending by 11:15ish. We pair you up with a player at each game and your job is to make sure they have a good time and stay safe! Throw a ball in the outfield with them, run the bases with them, help them at bat if they need it, and be their friend in the dugout.

Each Saturday we team each kid up with a buddy that assists them in all aspects of the game. We need approximately 25 buddies each Saturday. Want to be a buddy? What a great evening for the Volusia County Miracle League! ⚾️💚

Last night, we hosted our inaugural Skills Clinic, and we were incredibly fortunate to have the Stetson University Baseball team volunteer their time — including Head Coach Steve Trimper, who helped lead the clinic.

We’re so grateful for everything Stetson Baseball has done for our players and community. The turnout was amazing, and the smiles said it all!

Can’t wait to see everyone back on the field Saturday morning at 9 AM! 🌟

The 11th annual Chip in for Miracle League Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for October 11th, has been postponed due to unplayable course conditions.

We plan to reschedule the tournament and will notify you of the new date as soon as it is confirmed.
