HAY EVERYONE!!

Guess who forgot it was Giving Tuesday!? It's us. We forgot. Everyone is so busy with their regular jobs and taking care of the sanctuary residents afterwards, we totally forgot about Giving Tuesday. Well, it's never too late to lend a helping hand. Like every winter, the costs of keeping everyone fed, safe, and warm is starting to really ad up. $1300 for a big load of hay, $250 for our monthly one ton bag of grain, multiple heating lamps, tank heaters and space heaters, plus a hundred other little things! If you love animals in need as much as we do, help us make a difference by supporting the roughly 150 residents who call this place home. Thank you so much!

I had to stop working on a winterizing project in the barn due to "Thawing Spiders". It was cold all morning and afternoon, but about 3:30 it had warmed enough that they woke up and started rappelling down to ask me to stop making so much noise. Or as I call it, "Super-icky-what-touched-my-ear-oh-my-god-it's-huge-why-are-there-so-many-death-from-above-I'm-outta-here"
