New York Tri-State Step League Setting the Standard Promoting healthy living, leadership, sportsmanship, academic success, parental involvement & team work for Teams in NY, NJ, CT

It is our goal to promote healthy living, leadership, sportsmanship, academic success, parental involvement and team work for Teams in New York New Jersey and Connecticut . The mission of the New York Tri-State Steppers League is to assist schools, churches and organizations in the establishment and maintenance of step team programs. The NYTSSL Steppers League’s seeks to:



· Regulate step teams

and step show competitions in the New York Tri-State Metro Area.

· Provide students with character building workshops and strategies that will develop them as productive citizens.

· Integrate parental involvement in extracurricular activities.

· Invite community partnership to support the economically disadvantaged students who wish to participate in area programs.

· Promote sportsmanship particularly within the stepping community and engage in appropriate conflict resolution when needed.

· Increase potential involvement from Schools, Churches and community groups.

· Advocate healthy habits for youth through nutritional guidance and physical fitness.
