The meeting was everything that we expected. Staged speakers from the board and superintendent, "reassurance" that the district is not to blame, and no answers! Typical. No accountability. It's !

Please take note that any live stream you watched tonight was NOT provided by the district. They do not want to broadcast their secrets. Thank you to Dr. Fabre and the PC Banner for streaming. The board room filled up quickly and many would have been left in silence without you. Hopefully, one day the school board will embrace transparency and encourage public involvement.

Thank you to everyone who has liked Breaking Pointe and friended the Tru Pointe account. This alone has gotten the attention of our board members and school system leaders. The outpouring of interest has been tremendous. We are gathering information, but will not share publicly until we are sure it is all true. We have received some information through messenger and a request to establish an anonymous concern form. A friend is looking into this and we hope to have an update soon.

Remember that we are here to be a voice for the schools, the parents, the educators, and the students. Refrain from arguing with other parents, students, and educators on this page. This is not the place for such arguments. We seek to help, not to hinder. We want transparency from the school leaders. We want a plan for change that will save our schools. We want a plan that will be followed through until it succeeds.

UPDATE: A special school board meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 (no official meeting notice posted on website) at 5:30 p.m. The sheriff is scheduled to attend, but I’m sure it will be more “everything is fine” talk. LET THEM KNOW EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE!

SAVE THE DATE: THE NEXT BOARD MEETING IS SEPTEMBER 15.

Here is a list of upcoming board meetings. I will get the process for getting on the agenda for anyone wanting to voice concerns. You don’t have to be on the agenda to make a difference. The meetings are open to the public. Attend the meetings to let the superintendent and school board know that your are not happy with their leadership. Black, white, Livonia, STEM, and elementary schools…we all have children in this system and they are all suffering. It is time for a change! Our kids deserve more than mediocre leadership. We must take a PEACEFUL stand for our children.
