Humphrey update
Humphrey is doing amazing he has rolled over for the first time and his sling is just hugging him around his chest area and not holding his front or backend up he is learning how to use his legs and hold himself up. Thank you everyone for EVERYTHING ❤️ you all

Mr Humphrey is doing so well, we got to make some adjustments to his sling because he is now relying on it when he loses his balance and we need him to be able to correct himself. The sling is now supporting only about 50% of his belly and only 20% of his back end and 40 % of his front end. He is now at the point of his rehabilitation that will probably take the longest and that’s him gaining his strength and muscle back. He is a freaking Miracle not only because he is a twin born alive but to be able to recover from his neck injury. I can’t thank this amazing team enough for all their dedication,determination and all their hard work to help this little boy recover. They come day and night and even in between shifts. There’s no way this little boy would even be here if it wasn’t for them and not to mention some other very important volunteers that have been working their Ass off with cleaning stalls daily and feeding and watering, keeping others feeling good with massages, red light and grooming, like none of this would be possible without them. I wish we had more people like them. Thank you so much and I know Humphrey Thanks You as well!! Here is a video from this morning.

We go through 4 bales of hay a day that’s $80 a day in just one kind of hay we feed. We have 3 different types of hay we need at the rescue due to special diets. Does everyone remember the emaciated? Ex race horse that came to us a month ago?? She finally gained enough weight to be stable enough for her dental procedure. Dr Fisher is so amazing and was very shocked at how bad her teeth were. It’s so important to get these animals teeth floated at least yearly and checked twice a year. It is so important for their health and comfort and condition. This poor girl probably never had a dental in her life and she is over 20 years old. She is the sweetest lady. She nor any horse or donkey deserve this absolute abuse. She has wounds in her mouth due to how her teeth were rubbing and what efforts she had to do in order to chew her food. I can’t wait to see how she feels in a couple weeks after she heals. If you would like to donate to her care please send to Zelle 602-775-1646 as all donations are tax deductible. Now that the weather is beautiful outside Ruby went to play with her sister for a bit. They have so much fun together. Thanks Debbie for taking such great care of this amazing dog we rescued 2 years ago. Walmart special they were found in a box in the parking lot. We don’t stop rescuing just because they don’t have hooves. ❤️

Good evening, sorry you haven’t heard anything about the twins in about a month. One of them had a horrible accident and it’s been a very difficult, painful, rough, trying, heartbreaking, unreal, unsure, emotional, exhausting, unpredictable but everyday for the past 2 weeks has been a miracle. One of twins got a spinal injury and has been making huge improvements and is doing better each and everyday. It’s been a tough time but oh my gosh it has brought so many of us together and I definitely couldn’t do this alone and the outcome would have been totally different if it was just me. It’s truly is amazing how when something happens and you hear people say it takes a village to make things happen, I truly know what that means. I have never met people with such strong beliefs and truly understand how I feel and think and just get me the way our team does. I appreciate each and every one of you who has jumped in and has helped from mucking stalls, feeding, watering, Magna wave, massage therapy, grooming and especially the ones who have stood by my side one, twice to all day long when I have needed a little extra help they are all a phone call away. Thank you so much.
I know a few to maybe even more people may say oh that’s horrible why wouldn’t you euthanize him? Well there’s more then a few reasons why and yes he is under vets care along with more then just vets but you have your opinion and I have mine and he is not suffering that’s for sure. He plays, eats, drinks and does everything he should be doing at this time of his recovery. So if you would like to continue to watch his story thank you and if you prefer not to then Scroll On!!! We don’t need your opinions or opinion and yet we Thank everyone who believes in the magic of prayer and have some believe in healing. He is now 3 months old and healing amazingly. Happy 3 months old boys.
