Due to heavy rain in the forecast over the next 3 days, we have cancelled/postponed our first North Valley Saddle Club Gymkhana that was scheduled for this Saturday, January 21st. We will reschedule for a later date. Please let your friends and family know. I will be sending out an email as well. If I don't have your email, message me so I can add it to my list. Good afternoon,

We are very sad to inform you all that this Saturday's gymkhana is cancelled due to the virus once again. There has been a confirmed case today and the horse was recently at Larkyn arena and also in Cave Creek. From my understanding it appears the owner was with horses that reside in both new river and cave creek. We have decided its not worth the risk and better to be safe. The board is going to be looking over the rest of the years schedule this weekend so please keep an eye on that. Hope you all have a great summer and we will see you after the break.

Does anyone have items or services that they could possibly donate as prizes for the North Valley Saddle Club NVSC? We have 10 horse racing events per year and at each Gymkhana, we have a raffle and give away lots of nice prizes. The money collected from the raffle goes towards the year end awards which includes saddles, buckles, spurs, custom made horse tack, and many other great items. The North Valley SaddleClub is a non-profit organization and they are based out of New River, AZ and ride at Larkyn Memorial Arena. Larkyn Arena is located on the grounds for the New River Kiwanis. Anything that you donate will help our club and all 100+ members have a great time while racing their horses around barrels and poles. Our next event is Saturday, February 15th, starting at 11:30 am. This event is free to attend and watch so everyone is welcome to bring out the family and watch kids of all ages compete with their horses. Send me a message if you would like to donate. Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! Please come on out and be a part of the best saddle club in Arizona!!! Our first NVSC Gymkhana will be January 18th with the books opening at 10am. Our club has been growing because the word is getting out that we have a great location, our prizes are by far the best, and we have the hands down best time each event. Come on out and see for yourself!! Ask our members about the cool prizes they walk away with each gymkhana!! We are the only one that has a program like "Christmas Bucks".
