🤝🏻Thank you to New Ringgold FIRE for holding a CPR and Basic First Aid re-certification class last night. Also a shot out to Lehighton Ambulance Association for doing the training. 

📚 Emergercy Responders (firefighter, police, EMT, etc.) need to take a Health Care Provider CPR & AED renewal course every two years. This is a requierment for EMTs to keep their certification active and every three years for re-certification.

Yesterday evening 36 first responders (16 of our own) came out for cpr, first aid class at station 55. We’d like to thank Lehighton Ambulance for teaching the class and St. Luke’s for sponsoring the class!

**Final Call on Sunday January 25th/26th snowstorm

Changes were made to account for the potential of sleet to intrude into the storm. I do believe the NAM model is overdoing the sleet on previous runs which it slightly corrected on the most recent run. Snowfall totals were cut down mostly in SEPA, and it's still possible that sleet does make it up all the way to the Wyoming Valley but I do believe the cold air battles back against it and where this boundary sets up is south of the Valley cities.

Start time is a little later, 4am-6am for most of us except western and central PA where it will start between 2am-4am.

I will add to this post in a little while, I just wanted to get it posted as soon as possible as I won't be able to edit or add to the map if needed. I know this may be more aggressive than some, but I believe additional guidance from every other model weighs in against the NAM which has consistently been the outlier that shows more sleet which knocks down snowfall totals. To be clear, the temperatures will always be in the teens or lower and this will not be a situation where it changers to rain or freezing rain for anyone in NEPA, but sleet being a 5:1 ratio vs the snow which will be around 20:1 would knock snowfall totals down considerably.
