This one I am sure the dogs would like us to share with them.

We have more than 20 dogs available for adoption right now and several more in our care and waiting to come in! Here are some of them.

Collin came from a bad situation in Louisiana. You can see that he was intentionally harmed. This guy is sweet, engaging, and curious despite it all.

He seemed a bit confused and overwhelmed at times, but who wouldn't be?

At 5 years old, he unfortunately hasn't seen the best of humanity. But we are here to change that. He is safe now.

Now all he needs is a home to show him what being man's best friend is supposed to be like.

We are often asked who is good with cats, other dogs, and children.

Many of our dogs come from unknown backgrounds where they were found as strays so we just don't know until we test them.

We want to give them time to decompress before we do, and we also try not to overwhelm our office cat, Tony who is getting on in years, with too many in a day.

When we do get dogs good with everything, they get adopted very quickly.

The best recommendation if you're ready to adopt and have other pets/children is to apply now so you're ready to schedule a meet and greet when a good match comes along.

Our applications are valid for one year and are for any dog, not just the one you're looking at.

So, who do we have right now?
Athena and Zeus.

Athena is a regal 5 year old black beauty.
Zeus is a friendly and submissive 1 year old.

Fin is almost 3 years old, but he looks like a 6 month puppy.

He might have the life experiences of one too. Unfortunately, he came from a neglectful breeder after they were shut down.

He won't let that stop him, though. Fin is adorable. He is willing to meet new people and learn new things. He just hopes you'll give a little time to get to know each other before loving on him too aggressively.

He also has an aversion to certain textures to overcome (no gravel for me thanks), which is as cute as it is sad.

Fin can easily overcome this with his person by his side. Could you be the one to help him build his confidence?

Another jailbird finally flew the coop today! Our sweet little Shadow has been waiting for her time to shine for a long time coming. While she's been with us, she made a good friend, Bronco, and he was adopted yesterday. We're happy to see that she won't be upset losing her buddy. This sweet, shy girl deserves the world, and now she's gonna get it. Congratulations! ❤️🐾

These are sad times here at the rescue... we regret to inform you all that we have officially taken in 400 dogs this year, and it's only the middle of October. Let that sink in for a moment. Despite being overwhelmed with intakes, we're still fighting to get dogs out to save even more. Help us help them. Please come to adopt one of our lovely dogs. A donation or share can go a long way to make a dog's life better.

You can tell fall is finally here, and Halloween is right around the corner! 🍂🪾🎃 The leaves are changing, cool winds blowing, and we can finally take a load off without the horrible humidity. To start our own little celebration of sorts, five very happy dogs are excited to spend this spooky season with friendly faces. Goodbye to Scarlett, Harley, Molly, Bronco, and Dutchess!! It's been a little while since we had such a great adoption day, but regardless of how many are going home, we will always be proud to send them off. Thank you all for choosing to adopt today! 🐾❤️

🐾 Three Special Puppies Looking for the Right Homes! ❤️

We recently welcomed a litter of puppies — two girls and one boy — who came from a neglectful situation.

These puppies have had a difficult start in life, and it shows in their confidence. They are shy and will need patient, understanding adopters who are willing to help them work through their fears and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. They need calm, stable homes where they can settle in at their own pace, build trust, and discover all the good things life has to offer.

These babies are fully vetted, including their vaccinations, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter procedures.

They deserve more than just a home — they deserve families who understand them and are willing to help them thrive.

Let's help these three find the loving, patient homes they deserve. Please apply on the website if interested.

👉 Please make sure your vet has approval to speak with us ASAP so your application gets processed quickly.

🍝National Pasta Day🍝

Did you know there are 600+ types of pasta worldwide and that in the US we eat about 20lbs a year per person?

While Lady & the Tramp shared pasta in the film, we probably aren't going to share any with the our dogs here.

What's your favorite recipe?
