PARENTS OF NEW PROVIDENCE:

Did you know that kids in high-achieving communities like NP have three to five times more mental health and substance abuse issues than the national average? Yikes!😱

Join us TOMORROW (Thursday) NIGHT at the NPHS MEDIA CENTER at 7 pm as we discuss solutions in an interactive workshop with the incredible Rachel Henes, licensed social worker and expert consultant.

Expect an update on the latest research, practical information, laughs, aha moments, and valuable tools to help your kids thrive at home.

Attendees will have a chance to win:
- A cool metal gift basket stocked with 4 mugs, tea, a cozy blanket, a LAFCO candle, a notebook with a pen, and sleep spray
- A Skin Deep Gift Card
- A free Prom ticket

Save your spot by registering at https://givebutter.com/Parentworkshop ($10 donation to the PTSA requested).

See you there tomorrow night!

πŸ“… 12/17
12pm-1:15pm

πŸ’° FREE

Join for a Yin n’ Sana FREE community class focusing on mental awareness. The holidays can be a challenging time for many people. We are bombarded with messages of celebration and togetherness, but for some, the season can usher in intense feelings of sadness, loneliness, overwhelm, and stress.

To support New Providence residents in being β€œKind to their Minds,” Colleen Kenny LaRocque from the New Providence Mental Health Advocacy and Education Committee (NPMHAE) is partnering with Sana Yoga to offer a free Community Yin Class on December 17 at 12pm.

The class will include calming music, gentle Yin yoga, guided meditation, and messages of connection and support. Take a break from the holiday mayhem, relax, reset, and recharge with neighbors and friends. No experience is required.
