Who We Are. Why We Exist.

Pride in the Hills was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, supported, and celebrated.

What began as a community Pride effort has grown into something much bigger. Today, we're a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening LGBTQIA+ communities across Northwest Connecticut by funding programs that create lasting impact. Through grants, partnerships, advocacy, and events, we invest in mental health resources, youth programs, community organizations, educational opportunities, and safe, affirming spaces where people can truly belong.

We believe visibility matters every day of the year, and so does the work of building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Every event we host, every dollar we raise, and every volunteer who joins us helps make that vision a reality.

🏳️‍🌈 Throwback Thursday! Just over a month later, and we're still smiling about our Pride Party & Silent Auction at The Owl Wine and Food Bar. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, bid, and celebrated with us. Because of your incredible support, we reached our fundraising goal, and that impact will continue throughout our community.
