A huge thank you to Scott Equipment Company for hosting us in your beautiful space today! We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to gather outside of our usual meeting spot.

Thank you as well to Dan Jacobson for leading today’s membership meeting and sharing more about what Rotary is all about.

And finally — thank you to all of the guests who joined us today to learn more about Rotary, community impact, and ways to get involved locally. We loved having you with us!

To our local first responders, healthcare teams, and emergency personnel: thank you for the care, courage, calm, and commitment you bring to our community every single day.

From the officers of the New Prague Police Department to the members of the New Prague Fire Department, our EMTs, hospitals, clinics, dispatchers, and healthcare professionals -- we appreciate all you do, often behind the scenes and under pressure most of us never see.

Thank you for serving, protecting, helping, healing, and showing up when it matters most. Your impact does not go unnoticed. 💙

We have a couple more stops to share from our Rotary Appreciation visits!

Big thank you goes to FaithPoint Lutheran Church for opening their doors to our club for a few meetings every November. The whole FaithPoint crew goes out of their way to make an amazing meal and provide generous hospitality.

A special shout to fellow Rotarian, Pastor Steve Trewartha on his retirement. Congratulations on a well- deserved next chapter 🎉

Property taxes… we all see the bill, but what actually goes into the number?

Yesterday at Rotary, we heard from Scott County Assessor Michael Thompson, who helped pull back the curtain on assessments and taxation. Always great to better understand what goes into the process 👏

Also, huge thanks to Ruth 'Atterberg' Peterka and the girls softball team for their help with the Rotary Peace Garden composting this year. We appreciate all you do! 💙

Finally, we awarded our Rotarian of the Month, Ashley Segna with her very own Cream of the Crop award 👏 Ashely is our treasurer and is an absolute rockstar behind the scenes doing great work keeping things organized for our club. Thank you, Ashley!
