Scouts BSA - The Troop 7 Chartered by Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs.

Founded in 2022, Scouts BSA Troop 7 serves girls 10-17 in the New Port Richey / Trinity area with a robust and fun leadership and outdoor program through Scouting America.

July 2026 - Troop 7 sent 4 girls and brother Troop 77 sent 12 boys to National Jamboree at Sumit Bechtel in WV for 10 days. There are about 12,000 scouters there. They are going to have a great time, and we can't wait to hear about all their adventures!

Boonesboro Village. Scouts living like it's 1767. Dressing in period cloths, cooking all meals over an open fire, working on Blacksmithing, leatherworking, woodworking, Pottery, and more! These scouts had an amzing experience! 3 girls and 10 boys from Scouting America Troop 77 NPR along with 2 leaders (and some scouts from other troops)

5-Day Adventure Trek. Multiple Whitewater Rafting Trips, Zip Lines, Cycling, and General all around adventure. This group did not stop! 2 girls and 13 boys from Scouting America Troop 77 NPR along with 4 leaders (and some scouts from other troops).

White Water Rafting - our Base Camp scouts and Boonesboro scouts booked an offsite whitewater trip down the Pigeon River with Smoky Mountain River Rat Tubing. Some did the regular sized rafts, and some did the smaller more agile or "Extreme" rafts.

June 2026. Troop 7 and Scouting America Troop 77 NPR spent 1 week at Camp Daniel Boone. We took 19 girls, 43 Boys and 15 leaders (77 total) to camp.
Once there, the scouts/leaders were split into
- 42 into Base Camp
- 20 into 5-day adventure trek
- and 15 into Boonesboro Village

Jun 2026 - PLC planning meetings. The PLC for Troop 7 and Troop 77 happen at the same time and place. But they both plan their own calendars. They spent 3+ hours figuring out what they wanted to do for the next year, discussing options, researching locations, dates, etc. They determe if the two troops have any similar interests, and if they want to do any combined camping trips. They both planned amazing calendars for the next year that will be released soon!
