We are ready to RAWK ... and also to ROLL!

Thanks to ✨👉YOU👈✨ we will be dropping off this load of lighters, flashlights, AAA Batteries, various toiletries, 200+ pairs of socks (both white and colorful), food items and more ... to The First tomorrow. To be distributed to our homeless and at-risk neighbors.

Here is the schedule for the Mobile Medical Unit for Pasco County for the month of September 2026. You might be surprised at the number of medical (and dental) conditions they can help with!

The Unit travels to more than a dozen locations throughout Pasco County serving homeless and other residents who have no insurance.

The Mobile Medical Unit offers:
- Treatment for brief illness
(Strep throat and flu are examples)
- Treatment for long-term illnesses
(High blood pressure and diabetes are examples)
- Employment physicals, with some exceptions
- Sports physicals are limited to uninsured students and require an appointment. Call (727) 324-7823 to schedule your physical.
- School physicals are open to all students. No appointment is necessary.
- Laboratory services, limited
- Pregnancy testing
- Some prescription assistance
(No drugs are kept on board the unit)

Limited referrals are offered and can include:
- Dental services
- Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder
- Primary and Specialty care

Yep! We are - once again - collecting Mosquito Bracelets and Rain Ponchos for this month's HotG Challenge. Both are definitely needed, given Pasco County's recent (08/25/2026) Mosquito-Borne Illness Advisory - and the deluge of nearly-daily rain and thunderstorms we've been experiencing.

Fantastic! Each and every one of these items will be happily received by those who need them. Toiletries may be what would be considered a "basic need," but that does NOT mean they are readily available when you are homeless - let alone affordable.

You just made it easier to make that happen for some of our friends. Thank you for going out of your way to make this happen, and for trusting HotG to get them where they need to go.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! First 363 pairs of individually-wrapped grey, white, and block socks just a couple of days ago and now these too?!! 🌟 ONE HUNDRED 🌟 pairs of colorful socks!

I love! Love! Love! this! So MANY of our homeless and at-risk neighbors are going to have ✨ brand new, ✨ clean socks!! As someone who wears socks every single day I absolutely KNOW how wonderful it is to HAVE clean, dry socks.
