Here is the schedule for the Mobile Medical Unit for Pasco County for the month of June 2026. You might be surprised at the number of medical (and dental) conditions they can help with!

The Unit travels to more than a dozen locations throughout Pasco County serving homeless and other residents who have no insurance.

The Mobile Medical Unit offers:
- Treatment for brief illness
(Strep throat and flu are examples)
- Treatment for long-term illnesses
(High blood pressure and diabetes are examples)
- Employment physicals, with some exceptions
- Sports physicals are limited to uninsured students and require an appointment. Call (727) 324-7823 to schedule your physical.
- School physicals are open to all students. No appointment is necessary.
- Laboratory services, limited
- Pregnancy testing
- Some prescription assistance
(No drugs are kept on board the unit)

Limited referrals are offered and can include:
- Dental services
- Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder
- Primary and Specialty care

WOW!!! I mean ... WOW!! Thank you Stacy Hamacher!!! This is amazing and also WONDERFUL!! Our homeless and at-risk neighbors will REALLY be glad to get these! And you threw in a bunch of individually-wrapped plasticware too?! Fan-freaking-TASTIC! Thank you for kicking off June's HotG Challenge in such a kick-ass way! You RAWK!!! 🤩🤩🤩

FANTASTIC!!! Love! Love! LOVE this!! Thank you, Sue Paradis Andreski, for all of these wonderful over-the-counter medications for our homeless and at-risk neighbors. Absolutely excellent, and SO-often needed by those who cannot otherwise afford them. You RAWK!! 🤘😎🤘

In need of a king-size bed for one of our HotG families.

Sadly, they were just scammed by someone on Marketplace. (sigh) They made the purchased in good faith, but when they got it home, discovered it stinks (LOUDLY!) of cat p**s. To no one's surprise, the seller has now blocked them, and is not responding to phone calls either. 😡

This family did all they could in order to be able to purchase the bed, and absolutely CANNOT afford to purchase another one.

FYI - there is a reason (a VALID reason) I am requesting a KING-size bed, and not another size, but I will not go into details here. I know this family personally, quite well.

So ... if you have a king-size bed tucked away in a closet or garage somewhere (including mattress please!) you are not using ... please reach out so we can get this family taken care of and getting some much-needed COMFORTABLE rest. I know this request is a long shot, but the answer will not be "Yes" unless I ask it. So - here I am - asking!

Oh yeah!! One hundred rain ponchos ... and just in time!! Have you seen the forecast for next week?!! 🌧️ ⛈️ 🌧️

Thanks to ✨ YOU, ✨ HotG was able to purchase these for our homeless and at-risk neighbors. We will be providing these to our allies at "The First" for them to distribute during their usual activities, so that as many as possible will have them before the rains arrive next week and things get soggy. 💦💦💦
