Why SOHO Exists

Our show is a storied one—as well as it should be. It’s forty-nine years old, after all, and has seen its share of exhibitors, retailers, suppliers, and all kinds of members of the industry come and share their knowledge. One thing remains firm, however: SOHO, Showing Others Healthy Options, is a show dedicated to and targeted at the independent retailer. Every year, the SENPA staff work tirelessly to bring you a show worth coming to, one where everyone walks away happy: exhibitors with orders, retailers with new product and information, and industry professionals who networked thanks to the warm environment SOHO is designed to foster.

Our parent organization has changed quite a bit from its initial days, going from the NNFA days all the way until our independent present, but SOHO has remained the same: a show where product can be found, where education can be had, and where you can rest assured that your neighbors in their booths and the retailer picking product next to you are independent members of the industry you’ve come to love and not big-box retailers and mega-corporate brands. We feel it’s this commitment to you that keeps bringing our friends, family, and loved ones back to your stores, purchasing your healthy product, and bringing you back to SOHO every year.

So, just know that it’s because of you that we’re here. It’s for you that we set this up. And we’re glad to do it, because we know one thing: SOHO’s story mirrors yours, and we want you to succeed and be healthy.
