What’s your favorite kind of therapy? Mine is watching a foster dog discover his new blanket and enjoy bedtime in his new home. Mustard’s bedtime shenanigans are the sweetest reminder that comfort can look like a cozy blanket, a safe place, and room to be silly. 🐾💙

Meet Colonel Mustard, head of backyard security! 🫡

Today’s mission? One very suspicious lizard hiding under the patio umbrella base. And this rescue boy is NOT leaving his post until that lizard comes out! 😂

Apparently, fostering Mustard also means having a full-time lizard patrol officer! ❤️🐾

Dear CHUNK, hi baby boy…… Today is seven months since I held you and told you how much I loved you and I miss you every moment of every day. I still can’t even look at those last pictures. Mama will always love you and always miss you. You will always have the biggest part of my heart. But Mama found a little boy who looks so much like you and who really needed someone and so I brought him home. I hope you’re not mad at Mama. No one can ever take your place my baby boy, but there are so many others who need love and who need to be saved. I hope I have your blessing, my sweet boy. You’ll always and forever be the love of my life ….love always Mama.
PS… his name is mustard and I hope that you can send him a little message that it’s OK to lay down in your bed because he never stays in the bed long. Can you let him know it’s OK?
