Pasco County, FL – The Alliance for Healthy Communities, through its STAND Above the Influence Youth Coalition, is proud to announce the Change Begins with (YOU)th Annual Summit 2026 – The Ultimate Park Hopper, taking place on Friday, July 10th at theChapel Trinity, 8833 Mitchell Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The annual youth summit brings together middle and high school students from across Pasco County for a full day dedicated to leadership development, mental health awareness, and substance use prevention education. This year’s summit will welcome up to 150 youth participants, including students entering middle school fall of 2026 and 2026 high school graduates, creating space for connection, learning, and youth-led engagement.
Rooted in prevention and peer leadership, the summit focuses on empowering young people to make informed choices while strengthening their voices as community leaders.
This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Sky Verosic, along with youth-led presentations facilitated by STAND coalition members. Participants will engage in interactive breakout sessions, peer discussion activities, DJ-led entertainment, and vendor tables representing youth-serving organizations and community resources. The event is designed to create an energetic, theme-park-inspired environment that encourages participation, connection, and community building.
“Youth events like this really help you realize you are not alone in what you’re going through,” said an attendee from last year’s summit. “It gave me more confidence to speak up and get involved in my community.”
STAND youth will also take an active leadership role throughout the summit, helping facilitate discussions and share prevention-focused messaging with their peers.
The Change Begins with (YOU)th Annual Summit 2026 is free and open to middle and high school students, including students transitioning into middle school fall of 2026 and 2026 high school graduates.
