Thank you to Panera Bread and Chick-fil-A in Mitchell Plaza, Trinity, for a delicious breakfast, WaWa for hydration, and Trader Joe’s in Palm Harbor for fresh fruit to keep our walkers energized.

We are SO proud to have hosted our very first Walk for Women alongside Soroptimist International of Tampa 💜 It was an absolutely beautiful day surrounded by incredible people.

While we’ve proudly participated in Walk for Women over the past few years, this was Soroptimist International of Pasco and Tampa’s very first time hosting! Together, we raised awareness and supported Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. Dream Programs, helping women and girls overcome adversity and achieve their dreams

In the world we live in today, supporting women is more important than ever, but that work starts long before adulthood. It begins with our girls. By reaching them early, encouraging them, and helping them build confidence and opportunity, we’re setting the foundation for the strong, empowered women they will become.

To everyone who walked with us—thank you for showing up and walking with us to raise awareness for women and girls. We are so grateful for our friends and family, members, sponsors, and vendors who made this day so special!!

The Walk for Women supports the mission of Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc., helping women and girls live their dreams through access to education and training that leads to economic empowerment.

Funds raised throughout the year support programs like the Live Your Dream Awards, which provide education awards to women who are the primary financial support for their families, and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls, which gives girls the tools, mentorship, and confidence they need to pursue their education and career goals.
