Hey everyone! We really appreciate all the participation in the 2 play days so far and can’t wait to see everyone at the next one on June 7th! We will be starting 1 hour earlier to try and beat the heat.
Friendly reminder that events held at the Payette County Rodeo Grounds are family friendly and meant to bring the community together for the love of rodeo. These events are put on ENTIRELY by volunteers. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
Payette County Rodeo Grounds Rules for Play Days/Barrel Races; This includes the arena, holding area outside the gates, and the rodeo office:
1. Participants are required to wear appropriate riding attire.
-Full length jeans/pants.
-Boots or proper riding shoes.
-Minimum of short sleeves are required.
-Tank tops, spaghetti straps, low cut shirts, crop tops, and shorts are not allowed.
2. You are allowed ONE circle before your run if you need it.
3. 3 call rule. Your name will be called 3 times before rolling forward and you forfeit your run.
4. Late entries will not be accepted. The cutoff will be 30 minutes before the first event.
5. Excessive “schooling”, whipping, beating or yanking of your horse inside the arena or holding area is prohibited.
6. Foul language, disrespect, and unsportsmanlike conduct is prohibited.
7. No parking horse trailers in the grass by RV hookups or in the fair grounds parking lots.
8. No parking in the rodeo office parking lot unless you have a permit visible from your windshield.
9. Clean up after yourself.
